The White House is situated on the edge of Blenheim Park in the centre of the village.
A traditional pub in the heart of Oxfordshire – also reputed to be the place where Winston Churchill “learnt to drink”.
Saved from developers in 2020, it is now community owned and locally run.
The pub features in the CAMRA good beer guide and has recently been awarded Best Newcomer 2020 in the ‘Ox in a Box’ Food Awards 2022.
The menu is based on traditional pub food which is freshly made on site. Produce is sourced locally where possible to support businesses in the area.
There is always a guest ale or two available from local breweries, and a good selection of lagers, ciders, spirits and low alcohol options too.
It is a dog and family friendly place, with a large beer garden which is lovely when the sun is out and a wood burner inside to warm the spirits on a winters eve.
